Just as you would choose different equipment for different types of hikes, the Wilderness Medical Society offers different levels of membership depending on what you're looking for. Please Note: Students enjoy 60% off and residents/fellows-in-training receive 30% off any membership level (excluding Life Membership).
These special rates are designed to support you while you’re deep in the books or in training and not yet in the full-time grind. Discount automatically applies at checkout.

Those residing in low- or middle-income countries are also eligible for an additional 50% off the three primary levels; code displays during checkout.

Basic

($125.00 / Year*)

Designed for individuals who are just getting their feet wet in wilderness medicine, this level provides discounts on WMS conferences and teaching resources, committee service opportunities, access to online communities, and more. This basic membership does not include print or online access to Wilderness & Environmental Medicine journal, but online access can be added for $35, and online & print can be added for $55.
