Maya and Carina Both Carried Children
When things looked bleakest for Bishop, she dreamt of the day that not only her wife but she herself went into labor. Given that in the flash-forward, Maya was also captain, was this our sign to exhale, because she’d really, truly figured out her work/life balance? “It was this beautiful full-circle thing for her,” says Clack. “Their relationship was really on the rocks, and we brought them back together to push through this year. And she had that little mention in Episode 9, where she was like, ‘You know, if [Carina’s IVF treatment] doesn’t work, maybe I’ll get pregnant.’ But it did work, and she still decided to get pregnant!”

ending? overall pretty satisfying (the moment of all of them under the table while Vic signed had me in my feels). future andy’s wig? NOT satisfying. yikes. who’s starting the petition for the Vic/Travis spinoff and where do i sign?
That wig was awful
A really great series finale I’m still kind of mad. They decided to end it early. I feel I had a couple more seasons I still wish that the networks give the real reasons of why they cancel shows other than ratings or money or maybe they just need to make a room. I hope it’s not they got rid of Station 19 because of 911 coming onto the scene.
It should been cancelled!!!!!!!!!
Unless you are missing a “not” here, what are you on about? Third show WAS cancelled 🤷🏼♀️
That was one of the best fan service finales I have ever seen. Every damn time a series ends and there are questions left it’s such a slap in the face to their loyal fans. This show didn’t do that. Everyone and everything was as it should be and wanted it to be. I am incredibly sad to see this show go, given that Greys Anatomy is still on and isn’t even 1/4 of what it used to be. But just a really beautiful ending. As a Carina/Maya fan knowing they live happily ever after with their 3 children (Liam, Andrea, and Gianna) is amazing, and the Deluca-Bishop name on Captain Maya was such a beautiful touch. Travis and Vic were a love story, but Carina and Maya were epic and the truest love story of them all. Well done Station 19.
I really enjoyed the series and found the finale to be fitting and satisfying. I’m sad to see this great show end, and hope there are many Grey’s crossovers with these characters. My only curiosity now is whether the writers actually made a little goof when in Ben’s flash forward they called up Prudence Miller Warren to accept her honor… isn’t her name actually PRUITT Miller Warren, named for Pruitt Herrera?
I heard Pruitt.
i think the captions caught it as Prudence but when I listened back, I heard Pruitt.
The lack of respect treating Jack Character. We barely see him this season, Was he a budget cut?
No room for poor Jack with all the Maya/Carina story.
As you’ve all said…excellent finale. I was surprised to see Jack in uniform at the end. Maybe I lost track of him. But I thought he was no longer a firefighter. Can anyone offer a bit on his thread? Thanks.
So the budget was so bad that they couldn’t provide decent wigs or haircuts for Andy and Maya? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pruitt becoming a firefighter was a nice touch. Vic and Travis moving together was perfect.
A terrible finale. the whole flashes forward done in a bizarre way, romcom movies. killing the one character none cares about.
Andy is the the show’s lead and they couldn’t find a couple of minutes in the 10 episodes to re build her relationship with Jack.
Not to mention the unfair treatment of Jack who the writers said they wanted to explore a career ending injury with him but barley seen the whole season.
The only good thing was the incredible bond between Travis and Vic.
I dint understand why it’s going off
I starting balling when Dean appeared. Such a connection to Hughes was remarkable. They pulled at the heartstrings with this one. Loved to see where they ended in their futures. Marriage, kids, new jobs. Its what life is all about. The signing under the table and then Travis being with his bestie- then seeing his signature. This show did a phenomenal job. I dont care if you hit the dislike button– they closed the show in a great way. Bad wigs and all! Loved the nod to her dad on the way out ! congrats chief!
Best ending to a series that I have ever seen
Sorry to see station 19 end. It could have gone on.
They tried as much as possible to give everyone a happy ending but the getting there sucked. The show ended up being the Maya and Carina love story show and hell I don’t begrudge them their HEA but the fans deserved Andy and Jack’s reunion to have been fleshed out. They couldn’t even spare 30seconds for a Jack flashforward but gave us the same flashforward of Maya and Carina and their family twice?? And what did they mean by Jack unlike his 19 family didn’t have that terror moment where he had to reflect on what he was living for? His whole life had been a terror moment and non of his issues throughout the previous seasons had been addressed. He lived to be a firefighter and when he lost that opportunity we didn’t get to see how he even processed that loss? Smh
Sorry this wasn’t supposed to be a reply to Anne’s post lol
My opinion, they spent way too much time on the Maya and Carina story, We got to the point where it was fast forward when they came on the screen, so tired of hearing about them and babies. Jack was sent to the back burner, why? Andi was the star in my opinion, but even she wasn’t getting the air time that M and C were. They ruined it for me. I will miss the other characters.
Warren’s scenes in the hospital were horribly lacking in continuity between the two finales
Why is it over?
Love the ending of the series! Thanks for leaving us with resolutions , except I interpreted the flash forward of what was really going to happen!
