Leona really is a superstar in the making. A charming, beautiful young girl with an incredible voice. Following on from 2007's mega-hit Bleeding Love, the first track on this single is Better In Time. An Alicia Keys styled piano pop-r&b; record. It's full of class and as soon as the chorus kicks in, you know Leona's on to a winner with this track the lyrics are remarkable moving as Leona sings 'It's gonna hurt when it heals too.' Fabulous.

The second track, 'Footprints In The Sand' has had little airplay compared to 'Better In Time' and while i think many would dismiss it simply because it is a ballad, i think it's a really charming little track. Echoing Whitney's 'I Will Always Love You' and Leona's former single 'A Moment Like This' it's a suitably epic track to front 2008's Sport Relief Campaign.

You also get a new track on here too, You Bring Me Down is an ultra-slick slice of modern r&b; that puts Leona right up there with her contemporaries. I've been so pleased with the way things have turned out for her as she seems like such a genuinely nice person and it goes without saying she is an amazing singer. Expect even bigger things for this girl in the future and buy this single and help support sport relief!

I love this song, i usually like more upbeat songs, but this really grabbed me and i would be listening to it whilst cleaning my room or on way to school on my ipod..

I think Leona is going to be huge in Uk and also the Usa.

Better in time is an amazing song, that has a really good story to it, the video completely goes with the song, as it is also excellent!

Get it nowwwwww!!

Leona's growing on me

Leona Lewis had phenomenal success when she won the 'X Factor' back in 2006, i didn't like her at all until 'Footprints in the sand' i hated 'Bleeding love' i always thought it got way too much air play, was way too commercial and hyped up, but i see more potential in 'Footprints in the sand', i see Leona going to a different market, and i guess the less British and more International she becomes the more i like her. I didn't like Christina Aguilera at the beginning, but i'm an absolutely huge fan now so we'll see, anyway i think 'Footprints in the sand' is a great ballard, and i guess these sorts of ballard's remind me of how Mariah used to be in her early days.
The CD's second track 'Better in time' is a mid-tempo song which has a catchy chorus, compared to a song like 'Bleeding love' i would consider this song to be quite sublime, certainly no where near as explosive lyrically and musically, even so i still think it a good song, with a meaningful message.
