World Data Transactions (WDT) is in the business of creating Community Market Places (CMPs) by enabling key community stakeholders to collaborate in the creation and operation of mobile financial services.
WDT facilitates the creation of CMPs by using its open and flexible platform that integrates a robust state-of-the-art core banking platform, a financial and telecom transactional network, and its support for fast development of mobile apps. This capability enables financial institutions, mobile operators, merchants and other service providers to deliver on-demand mobile services. In addition, WDT can provide its clients access to regulated Micro Financial Institutions and/or banks in countries where regulated deposit accounts are mandated.
WDT is part of the World Data family of companies, with investments in financial networks, back office development for MFIs (Micro Financial Institutions), and mobile technology enablers for financial and telecom operators. World Data is headquartered in Washington D.C. World Data Transactions was formed in 2000 by Oscar Bazoberry, its present Chairman.
