About Us

The Multicultural Greek Council at the University of California, San Diego was founded by 5 Greek organizations that still remain a part of the council today. Currently, the council is composed of 16 multicultural Greek organizations. The purpose of the Multicultural Greek Council at the University of California, San Diego shall be to create and maintain high standards in the life of fraternities and sororities by addressing, coordinating and developing strategic action plans that unify organizations, promote higher education, provide community services, and enhance leadership. The Multicultural Greek Council also serves as a liaison between the Associated Students, and other administration thereby maintaining open communication and improving the campus climate.
