Just thought I'd point that little detail out for you. :)pic.twitter.com/robcVkEkmv

Do you honestly believe the NY Times publishes every single opinion piece submitted to them or has *no control* over what topics they decide to print?

-
Yes, their writers cant say "Hitler did nothing wrong". This? Is totally fine. I am sure there are just as many writers that disagree with that post as agree. Its how you keep things balanced.
-
How many opinion pieces about Glenn Thrush do you think NYT will publish?
-
Who knows? We shall seeeee. Its opinion. All depends on the writers opinions at NYT, and if its worthy of publishing. Everyone there could agree the two cases do not line up, when you weight their respective positions. or not!

"that we helped spark with our journalism" - really? Maybe don't humble brag in a statement like this, esp when he's facing no real consequences for his actions. (you're paying for training, keeping him on staff, no perks for people who have to cont working w him.)
-
And you're basically punishing everyone who has to work with him from here on out. He's now going to be a professional liability for everyone, whether it's higher stress levels or having his misdeeds overshadow their good work. How are you going to make it right w rest of staff?

Two months? Wow, that will teach him to not sexually harass women. I mean y'all were on Hillary's ass about the behavior of Weinstein and Bill but good ole Glenn gets only two months suspension.

This is the newspaper that still has not addressed it's failures covering the 2016 election. Thrush was a huge piece of that terrible coverage. Many at the NY Times need to be held to account.

I guess "Democracy dies in the dark", right?
#NYTimes stands by sexual misconduct of#GlennThrush WHILE criticizing others. Credibility looking great, eh! -
"Democracy Dies in Darkness" is the Washington Post's tagline, not theirs. Agree with you that this squishy response to his conduct is foolish, though.

So in other words, he gets away with it. Shocking. Will you at least keep him away from women in a professional capacity? Or provide a chaperone?

Any reporting you do about this subject is forever tainted because you CONDONE this behavior in your own reporters. Do the right thing and fire him.
