Do you honestly believe the NY Times publishes every single opinion piece submitted to them or has *no control* over what topics they decide to print? 🤔

Yes, their writers cant say "Hitler did nothing wrong". This? Is totally fine. I am sure there are just as many writers that disagree with that post as agree. Its how you keep things balanced.

Who knows? We shall seeeee. Its opinion. All depends on the writers opinions at NYT, and if its worthy of publishing. Everyone there could agree the two cases do not line up, when you weight their respective positions. or not!

"that we helped spark with our journalism" - really? Maybe don't humble brag in a statement like this, esp when he's facing no real consequences for his actions. (you're paying for training, keeping him on staff, no perks for people who have to cont working w him.)

And you're basically punishing everyone who has to work with him from here on out. He's now going to be a professional liability for everyone, whether it's higher stress levels or having his misdeeds overshadow their good work. How are you going to make it right w rest of staff?

This is the newspaper that still has not addressed it's failures covering the 2016 election. Thrush was a huge piece of that terrible coverage. Many at the NY Times need to be held to account.
