CATHOLIC BROTHER WHO LIVED IN JOLIET SENTENCED | ROBERT BROUILLETTE: 4 YEARS PROBATION FOR CHILD PORN CONVICTION
Joliet -- A Joliet man was sentenced to four years probation Monday after he was convicted in December of 10 charges related to child pornography. Robert Brouillette, who was a member of a Christian Brothers religious order in Joliet when he was arrested in 1998, was convicted of possessing several images of child pornography obtained over the Internet.
He also was fined $2,000 by Judge Amy Bertani Tomczak.
Brouillette currently is receiving treatment at a specialized facility in Missouri.
As a condition of his probation, he cannot use a computer.
In 1998, the 56-year-old Brouillette was living in a Christian Brothers home on Western Avenue while commuting to an administrative job at Brother Rice High School in Chicago. …
