Quantico is slick enough, and well-enough cast, to probably keep a good-sized audience watching.
Quantico is little more than a fantastical sandbox full of gadgets and car crashes, sure; but for once, I feel actually invited to play.
If hardly a moment feels plausible, the show has energy to spare and so many balls in the air by the end of the pilot that it's hard not to want to see where they will come down.
The characters are well drawn and relatable, and the central mystery hooks us right away.
Bollywood superstar and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra may alone make this new series worth watching for a while, despite its over-the-top premiere.
Despite its overstuffed plot and heavy-handed characterizations, watching this series figure out how to burn the candle at both ends and make it viable in the long term may be reason enough to keep watching.
