SPRING ARBOR TOWNSHIP, MICH. — State police say a 16-year-old boy was killed when he lost control of his Chevrolet Camaro while speeding along a gravel road in Jackson County and crashed.
The state police Jackson post says the crash happened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday in Spring Arbor Township, about 8 miles west-southwest of Jackson.
State police haven’t yet released the name of the teen, who was the only person in the 1996 Camaro. They say his car left the road and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
