The African Futures publications represent acoordinated effort by the Pardee Centre for International Futures and the Institute for Security Studies to produce relevant, long-term, forward-thinking comment and analysis about the future of Africa. Most of these publications begin with a question, for example: `if all African countries increased their delivery of safe sanitation at 2% per year, when will every citizen have access to taps and toilets?` or `if all African countries increased primary school completion by 1.74% per year, when will universal primary education be achieved?` Once such questions are posed, the research team uses the International Futures model to explore potential trajectories of development for stakeholders across the continent.
