Welcome and thank you for visiting the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA). My name is Sang-Pyo Hong, the President & CEO of KOCCA.

The current wave of Hallyu, especially K-POP, is spreading rapidly throughout the world, including Japan and Europe. Hallyu has made significant contributions to enhancing the national brand value of Korea. Accompanied with Korea's powerful manufacturing and service sectors, Hallyu has been attracting global attention with its world-class cultural content.

Countries across the globe today are increasingly recognizing the importance of creative content. It is against this backdrop that Korea is making national efforts to further develop and foster the creative content industries as part of its new growth engine for the future.

KOCCA was established to promote the efficient growth and development of domestic creative content industries. Elevating Korea's creative industries to a higher level, KOCCA specializes in a variety of content, including broadcasting, games, animation, comics, and character licensing.

KOCCA is committed to fully promoting Korea's creative content industries as part of its national strategy to become a global content powerhouse. This includes the establishment of infrastructure for the creative content industries, the revitalization of content creation and distribution, support of overseas expansion for Korean firms, development of next-generation content, and policy research and industrial analysis.
