Guidewire Software Inc.'s (GWRE, $36.59, +$5.06, +16.05%) fiscal second-quarter earnings climbed 49% as the provider of software for property/casualty insurers reported double-digit revenue gains across its segments. Results topped the company's expectations.

Lamar Advertising Co.'s (LAMR, $45.50, +$1.89, +4.33%) fourth-quarter profit rose 13% as the company recorded higher revenue and stronger margins. The provider of outdoor advertising and logo sign displays also posted revenue slightly above its own estimates.
