There will be no changes to the current BM5 travel path. All current bus stops in Midtown Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn will remain unchanged.
In Midtown, the BM5 will continue to operate via Madison Avenue (drop-off) and Fifth Avenue (pickup) between 34th Street and 57th Street. The BM5 will continue to operate Monday-Saturday.

To align service closer with ridership, the times of the last westbound trips to Midtown/Downtown Manhattan on the BM1, BM2 and BM3 on Saturdays only will be adjusted.

The southbound Q101 will drop-off at East 61st Street, mid-block, between Second Avenue and First Avenue, under the Queensboro Bridge Upper Level Exit Ramp (last stop).

QBx1 CUSTOMERS EFFECTIVE SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2010
To simplify service patterns and reduce confusion, QBx1 service will be replaced by the new Q50 Limited and Bx23.
Q50 Limited will operate between Flushing and Co-op City via the Pelham Bay Park 6 station. The northern terminal will be in Co-op City Section 5 on Earhart Lane at Erskine Place. The Q50 will be formalized as a Limited Stop service traveling along the periphery of all sections of Co-op City; however, it will serve Dreiser Loop and Asch Loop from Co-op City Boulevard, and not enter them. The Q50 will operate 4 AM-12 Midnight on weekdays and 6 AM-12 Midnight on weekends.
Bx23 Co-op City Loop will provide service from Pelham Bay serving all sections of Co-op City (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - including Asch Loop and Dreiser Loop) and return to Pelham Bay. During weekday peak periods, the Bx23 will be split into two services (1) to Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, Dreiser Loop and Asch Loop, and (2) to Section 5 via Bartow Avenue. All services will operate in both directions around Co-op City (clockwise and counterclockwise), except the Section 5 peak service, which will only operate clockwise (Bartow Avenue first). The Bx23 will operate 5 AM-10 PM on weekdays and 6 AM-10 PM on weekends (weekday peak period service will operate 6 AM-9 AM and 4 PM-7 PM). The Q50 may also be used for service between Pelham Bay and Co-op City, and the Bx29 provides direct service between Pelham Bay and Section 5.
The Q50 and Bx23 will serve most current QBx1 bus stops on their travel paths.

To provide faster, more reliable service the non-stop travel path of the westbound (to Midtown) QM2, QM2A and QM3 will be revised.
