Beyoncé Cast in New Film "Epic"
May 31st, 2012Beyoncé has been cast in the upcoming 3-D CG action-adventure comedy "Epic." The film is scheduled for a May 24, 2013 release from 20th Century FOX Animation & Blue Sky Studios. The film is described as a battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and evil.
Beyoncé will voice the character of Queen Tara, while other co-stars Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis and Steven Tyler will lend their voices as well.Comments: 8News:Beyoncé Live at Revel

New Show Set For Memorial Day, Monday, May 28
REVEL BEACH, Atlantic City, N.J. (May 7, 2012) – Due to overwhelming demand to see international music icon BEYONCÉ live, a fourth show, scheduled for Monday, May 28 has been added to the premiere weekend of Revel.
Each of BEYONCÉ’S previously announced three shows, Friday, May 25, Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27, sold out in less than a minute after tickets went on sale to the general public. The trio of concerts in Revel’s signature performance space marks the 16-time Grammy winner’s first live concerts since the summer of 2011.
Tickets for the new show on Monday, May 28 will be available to BEYONCÉ’S most dedicated fans through a presale exclusively on Beyonce.com on Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m., EST. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 14 at 10 a.m., EST. at all Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com and by calling 800-745-3000.
Designed by Cirque du Soleil veterans Scèno Plus, Ovation Hall creates an elevated concert experience for more than 5,000 fans by making the expansive space feel decidedly intimate. Every seat has an unobstructed view of the performer and a state-of-the-art sound system puts the audience in the center of the action with immersive audibility.
Revel opened its doors April 2 for an eight-week preview culminating in the resort premiere on Memorial Day weekend.
