From the Movies
"Bounty hunters. We don't need that scum," was a sentiment quietly expressed by Admiral Piett when Lord Vader recruited a group of six elite hunters to track down the
Millennium Falcon.
Piett thought he was out of earshot, but the disparagement was still heard by Bossk, a towering reptilian humanoid and skilled predator. Though Boba Fett ultimately bested the other hunters and collected Han Solo's bounty, Bossk is nonetheless a fearsome and heavily armed tracker.

Behind the Scenes
The original script called for Bossk to be a "slimy, tentacled monster with two huge, bloodshot eyes in a soft baggy face." His final design featured a flight suit that can be glimpsed in the cantina sequence of
A New Hope. Production photos prove that Bossk was present in Jabba's palace and sail barge during
Return of the Jedi, though he is very difficult to spot in the film.
