She competed successfully at the international level with Antoine Dorsaz in pairs while he was a single skater before and competed at the international junior level. Coach Ingo Steuer is the 1997 World Pairs Champion (with Mandy Wötzel competing for Germany) and coach Birgit Brandt (nee Lorenz) is the 1983 and 1984 European bronze medalist in pair skating (with Knut Schubert, competing for East Germany).
