The Discontinuity Guide
You're dabbling with the forces of continuity.
- The Doctor in The Well Mannered War
In 1995, Paul Cornell, Martin Day, and Keith Topping published The Discontinuity Guide, a guide to all sorts of things about the TV series Doctor Who. Subsequently, another website, The DiscContinuity Guide, has used the format to cover Big Finish's monthly Doctor Who audios, although their guide has not been updated in several years.
This site aims to cover almost everything not covered by the other two guides. This includes the new series, the books, any Big Finish audios not covered by the DiscContinuity Guide, and various Doctor Who spin-offs. However, we don't cover the old Target novelisations of televised stories, the comic strips (though we do have a guide to them elsewhere on the site), or the various Doctor Who Annuals (again, they are covered in the comics guide section). Nor do we cover things like the story given away with Sky-Ray Ice Lollies back in the 1970s.
A separate page explains the Discontinuity Format.
