Built in early 80’s as a pioneering agro-industrial community outside the Nile valley Sadat city has now developed into a new modern metropolis. Its unique location between Cairo and Alexandria, together with its parallel proximity to the delta, has made it a focal attraction for local and foreign investment, giving birth to a new civic community.

Situated 94 kilometers northwest of Cairo on the desert road to Alexandria, it spreads over a total area of 500 square kilometers with 18 square kilometers allocated for industrial activities, strategically placed in a down wind location to protect the former from pollution and noise. This together with a surrounding green belt of 35 thousand hectares marks Sadat city as one of the most environmentally friendly industrial locations in the region.

Industrial investment is the backbone of development, generating an annual turnover that exceeded LE 400 million. Sadat city has nourished growing investments in heavy, medium and small industries, in addition to feeding workshops and support units.
