Liang Zhu Drama is a drama production company set up by students at the University of Oxford originally for the production of The Butterfly Lovers in Trinity Term 2001.

The name of the company is taken from the surnames of the two main characters from The Butterfly Lovers, and combined together.

The objective of Liang Zhu Drama is to promote Chinese Culture and Arts in the City of Oxford and around the UK. Whilst many of its members are from China, the group is ethnically diverse, with members also from the UK, US, South-East Asia, as well as being of all different races, from Chinese to Caucasian.
