2009 SXSW Shorts Lineup, Plus Additional Features Announced!

Butthole_Lickin___Midnight_Shorts_.jpgYou want more? You've got it! We're pleased to announce our shorts lineup for SXSW '09. From over 2000 submissions, we've managed to whittle them down to 127 gems, to screen over the 9 days of the festival, March 13 - 21 2009. Covering narratives, docs, animation, experimental, high school, Texas and Midnight shorts and the international SX Global Shorts, we think this is a lineup to write home about. Check out the full list here.

But wait, there's more! A lot more. We have some amazing additions to add to our already incredible features lineup, including more premieres, and we're thrilled to bits about them.

Iron_Maiden_-_Flight_666.jpgSpanning all categories, the new additions include Damani Baker and Alex Vlack's Still Bill, a documentary portrait of legendary soul singer Bill Withers; Scot McFadyen & Sam Dunn's globe-trotting rock doc Iron Maiden: Flight 666; and 500 Days of Summer, Marc Webb's sweet romantic comedy, starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
