III CATALONIA INTERNATIONAL OPEN
With the objective of organising a successful International Open which will be celebrated from the 6th. – 8th  March 2009 on the Pitch & Putt Lleida course, Torre Serona, Lleida, the Tournament Committee has established preliminary pre-inscription date of 1st. February 2009 in order to ascertain the approximate number of participants attending the tournament, especially those from other FIPPA associations. This will allow the organising committee to estimate the potential dimension of the event. The definitive closing date for inscriptions is February 15th. 2009.

Those players, pre-inscribed, will have first preference and will be allocated guaranteed participation assuming they comply with the prerequisite norms applied to the competition. If one FIPPA member association exceeds the suggested limit of available places, every effort will be made to accommodate those players should there be vacancies from other FIPPA member organisations.

Australian Triple Crown II - November 2009
This is a good time to remind everyone that the second playing of the Australian Triple Crown pitch and putt competition will be held in Adelaide, South Australia,  from 9 to 21 November, 2009.  This event is being managed on behalf of the Australian Pitch and Putt Association (APPA) by the Pitch and Putt Association of South Australia (PPASA).

Details of the event will be found in the entry form  We are hoping for good representation of our overseas colleagues at this event.

PPASA has been very active in seeking local support for this event.  Among other things, this has included seeking offers of accomodation for players in the competition.  I am pleased to inform you that about 24 beds have now been offered and are available for first call by international visitors. We hope this will reduce the cost of taking part in this event and will encourage players to visit us and to enter.

Players interested in obtaining further information about this event may do so by email to the President of the PPASA, Mr Peter O'Dare, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or me at this address.  The APPA website also contains useful information.  Its address is on the attached poster.

Thank you in anticipation of your assistance.

Kind regards, Tim Terrell President, APPA
