Jonny
lol. Perhaps it will grow on me (only heard it 4 times) but I had expected something completely different. And the Swedish word "dum" means silly :D

i wish to her win in esc 2009 and there are 5 months untill the contest, and hadise is a real professional on her job,she is not an ameteur so she will re-arregment and improve this song,i remember all the first form of the winner songs in esc,and they really improved perfectly, and then they won...hadise knows how to warm up the people, and everyone must be afraid of her,cuz when she is on stahe, she creats an earthquake on stage, she can drive everyone crazy...sakis is not so that,he sings and looks perfect but he can't warm up the people as hadise does...and in these 5 months the song will be perfect i think...all the winner esc songs were not so beautiful at the first time but then they rocked as hadise will do!!

I don't know which is worse: "Düm Tek Tek" or "Shake It Up Shekerim". Both are garbage, and the worst Turkish entries of these years. Absolutely forgettable music sang by an average singer. What a disappointment.

Don't forget that Malta will be the winner this year. With the help of the jury of course.

Yet again, Turkey have chosen well.
I think if esc09 would be based solely on televotes, this would be a potential winner, HOWEVER I think this is a little bit of a Helena Paparizou imitation - not very original. Anyway, I'm sure this will do very well. If Hadise has good vocals and the stage performance is improved, we could be looking at a potential winner. (And btw I really love this song already)

there will be a LOT of work to do to make this song attractive and sensible... Last year the Turkish entry was daring, it sounded really new from Turkey, but this year, we are still served the tasteless crap Eastern music... but I wish all the best to Turkey !
