Welcome to my web site! I'm Fred Foldvary, the Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. Representative in Congress for the 9th District in California, covering the East Bay (Berkeley and Oakland areas). I currently serve as a professor of economics Santa Clara University, John F. Kennedy University, and California State University, Hayward. I'm running for Congress to provide you an alternative to Democrats and Republicans, who merely represent two different versions of the status quo. In short, I believe that, as an individual, you have the right to live your life in whatever manner you choose, so long as you do not infringe upon the equal right of others to live their lives as they choose.
