NOS were one of the Netherlands’s best-kept secrets. Despite being the nation’s provider of news and sport through the main Dutch public broadcast channels, the Dutch public simply didn’t know. NOS wanted to change this, so they asked Lambie-Nairn to help.
The new positioning for NOS was “the hub of 360 degree reportage”, reflecting that NOS covers every angle and every viewpoint. Lambie-Nairn took the O of NOS to show this hub and then pictured it with a red circle. The red hub shows information being gathered and broadcast. This new identity can be seen everywhere from on-screen to brochures and even on the NOS corporate building. NOS has significantly increased its brand awareness since the brand refresh.
