Pink gets live during 'Not Dead' tour

Pink will back her recently released fourth album, "I'm Not Dead," with a summer road trip that kicks off next month.

The singer plans to get things started with performances at a pair of late-June radio-station festivals--one in Chicago, the other in Seattle--and then tackles an itinerary that features headlining stops at theaters and large clubs throughout the US. A third radio-station festival appearance and a one-off show in Canada also grace the schedule, which is included below.

Last month, Pink offered up "I'm Not Dead," the follow-up to 2003's "Try This." The new disc features the hit single "Stupid Girls," a song that Pink says has sparked some healthy debate.

"It has actually been really inspiring and wonderful to see how much discussion has been happening on the subject of 'Stupid Girls,'" she wrote in a message posted at her website. "... Of course, a lot of people are relieved that someone has finally said something about the mindless epidemic of unhealthy girls out there promoting consumerism and escapism.

"Also, do not misunderstand me," she continued. "I will clarify that in my opinion, which is exactly what all of this is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being sexy, feeling sexy, or dressing sexy. My point is only this: 'smart' and 'sexy' are not oil and water. They can actually work together. You don't need to dumb yourself down in order to be cute. You also don't have to have the latest $10,000 handbag to be cool. You can have braces and play the trumpet and you are still just as important as the cheerleader or the skateboarder. I, on the other hand, had braces and played clarinet ... which of course made me even cooler."

The music video for "Stupid Girls" is streaming at Pink's website.
