Shane wins the lag.

Shane breaks. Makes a ball but has a tough look at the 1. He played a 2 way shot banking the 1 and leaving Alex
a long bank. Alex comes to the table and plays safe. Shane is looking at a long distance shot and plays safe
leaving Alex a long tough shot. Alex misses the shot in the side and leaves Shane another difficult shot. Shane
plays safe and leaves a long bank on the 1 for Alex. Alex fires a safety right back at Shane. Shane jumps the 2
and hits the 1 but he hangs it in the pocket for The Lion.

Alex is shooting over the 6 ball and draws the rock a little too far leaving himself hooked on the 3. He JUMPS!!
the 9 makes the 3 and gets shape on the 5. He is in line now and running good. Alex gets out to take the 1st
game.

Alex is breaking. Alex draws dead on the break and Shane comes to the table with a good shot on the 1. Shane
takes an extension on the 4 then hits it perfect for shape on the 5. Shane draws to far on the 7 and hooks
himself behind the 9. He gets out the short cue and FIRES IN THE 8!!!!! Shane makes a tough shot on the 9 to
even the score.

Shane has the break in game 3. He makes a ball and is left tough on the 1. Shane plays safe and Alex kicks
and leaves Shane a tough look. They are involved in a safety battle. Alex makes a 1-5 combo to take control of
the rack. He makes a nice cut on the 1 and threads the cue ball through traffic to get good on the 3. Alex makes
a strong out to retake the lead 2 to 1.

Alex has the break. He makes a ball but has a rough cut shot on the 1. Alex made the 1 and 2 and is in line for
the out. The Lion is playing strong. He wins game 4 to take a 2 game lead. 3 to 2

Shane has the break for the 5th rack. He breaks and flies the cue ball off the table. Alex looks at a open table
with ball in hand. It looks like one of those Cosmo outs. Alex connects the dots while laughing with the crowd
to take a 4 to 1 lead.

Alex is breaking. Alex puts an extension on his cue and stretches to make the 1 and scratches. Shane has
ball in hand and rattles the 1, but it falls. Shane composes himself and gets back to business making a nice
out to stay in the match.

Shane is breaking and drops a ball. He does not get rewarded and takes his extension to figure out a plan
of attack. Shane makes a tough cut on the 1 and plays safe on the 2. Alex is hooked and plays a jump shot
on the 2. Alex hangs the 2 and SVB is at the table. Shane plays a carom on the 2 -7 and makes the 7.
Shane plays safe on the 2 and Alex returns the favor leaving him a cross side bank. Shane plays safe and
leaves the balls at opposite ends of the table. They are engaged in another safety war.

Alex wins the safety battle and gains control of the table with ball in hand. Alex quickly makes a 3-9 combo to
take a commanding lead of 5 to 2

Alex breaks and comes up with a beauty. He makes a ball and has a good shot on the ace. Alex shoots the
3 in side and MISSES !! Shane comes to the table with a hard look at the 3 and misses. Alex takes over
and slow rolls the 3 into the side. Pagulayan hooks himself on the 7 and kicks allowing Shane a good look
at the 7. This is a critical shot for the kid from SD. Shane drills the 7 in at warp speed and gets perfect on
the 8. Shane wins a crucial game to stay alive.

Shane breaks in game 9. He drops a ball and has a slim look at the 1. SVB comes with a great safety and
Alex is up. Alex kicks and leaves Shane a pocket for the 1 ball.He makes the ace and gets in line for the
rest of the rack. No major problems, Shane should close the gap here. The South Dakota Kid makes a
solid out tighten up the match.

Alex will break the balls in rack 10. He makes a ball and comes up with no shot on the 1. Alex executes a
nice safety and leaves Shane a jump shot over 3 balls. Shane JUMPS 3 BALLS and DRAINS the 1!!!! He
gets rewarded for a great shot and has position on the 2. This a test of wills between 2 Champions. SVB
executes another solid run out and ties the score at 5.

Shane breaks and scratches. Alex plays a lock up safety and Shane fouls. Alex plays another brutal
safety and Shane fouls again to go on 2 fouls. Alex locks him up for the 3rd and final time to take the
victory and go on to the hill.

Alex breaks, almost makes the 9 and has a shot on the 1. Alex makes the 1 but hooks himself on the 2.
The Lion kicks the 2 and almost makes the 9 in the corner !!!! Shane gets a chance with a rough shot
on the deuce. He double kisses the ball and hangs it in the hole. Alex comes to the table with a chance
to end the match. He calms himself and continues to run out. Pagulayan makes a tough shot on the 6 to
get perfect on the 8.

Alex Pagulayan defeats Shane Van Boening to capture the World Summit of Pool Championship.
