with the legendary author
Sidney
Sheldon was an American writer who had three
successful careers: a Broadway playwright, a TV and
movie screenwriter, and a novelist. Some of his TV
works include The Patty Duke Show, I Dream
of Jeannie, and Hart to Hart. Until he
turned 50 years old, Sidney started writing
best-selling novels, such as "Master of the Game"
(1982), "The Other Side of Midnight" (1973) and
"Rage of Angels" (1980).

2000 Interview --
Sidney talked about his early career in television
and movies. Plus, Sidney answered web viewer
questions and gave career advice to aspiring
writers.
2005 Interview -
Sidney talked about his best-selling book, "Are Your
Afraid of the Dark?" and how he felt toward the
current climate of reality television. Plus, he told
a great story on how Judy Garland met Fred Astaire
for the first time during the filming of "Irving
Berlin's Easter Parade," a screenplay that Sidney
wrote.
On Tuesday, January 30, 2007, Sidney Sheldon died
from complications arising from pneumonia at age 89.
