Dear Broadcasters, Colleagues and Friends,

The Asian Games have seen the introduction of new technologies and innovations, including the success of the High Definition coverage of some key sports, helping to create an important broadcast milestone and a benchmark from which future Asian Games can flourish.

DAGBS would specifically like to thank the following parties for being a part of The Games Of Your Life:

Al Qahtani, Deputy Director General, Operations Yousef Mohamed Al Othman and all DAGOC Directors, and especially Director of Media and Broadcast Patrick Furlong, has been crucial.

  • All of the Rights Holders who have broadcast a fantastic Asian Games throughout the continent. Your feedback has been essential in DAGBS’ progress and we trust that DAGBS helped you show the world the wonderful hospitality and exceptional enthusiasm provided by the State of Qatar.

  • And, of course, each and every person on the DAGBS staff. The more than 2,000 members of the event-time team, hailing from a total of 55 countries, worked tirelessly and with great application and dedication. It has been a true honour for us to lead this veritable dream team.
