The Joystiq Network

Joystiq has been on fire for the past couple of months, and since one blog can't cover all the information out there we've decided to launch what we're calling internally "the Joystiq Network." So far we've spun out four blogs from Joystiq, a look at the traffic below. My concept is that if these sites can do to 10-20k pages a day they will do 100k pages a day to add to Joystiq's 200k a day. That will put us in the 10M video game pages a month area. Not a ton, I know, but it's a start. Also, I'm thinking maybe we could let some blogs outside of Weblogs, Inc. into the network and sell their advertising for them like BlogAds.com does--we've been selling out on Joystiq, so selling another ten video game blogs wouldn't be a problem.

Note: the spike and dip is totally normal for a new blog as we welcome a blog to the network from our other blogs. You don't see that on the two above because we added sitemeter three or four days after they launched--they had the spike and dip too. In another month or two you'll see the traffic reach the day one traffic--we call this the "blog bounce" inside of WIN.
