| NET
25 is the UHF television station of Eagle Broadcasting Corporation
(EBC), a pioneering broadcast institution in the Philippines. NET
25 reinforces EBC's national network of five AM stations and an FM
station located in major urban centers of the country. The network
is poised to offer Filipino viewers a new era in television programming. |

station started its broadcast operations last July 27, 1999 and
was officially launched in a multi-media exhibit dubbed Destination:
PLANET 25 last April 23, 2000. The network's vision is to become
the premiere values-oriented broadcast communications network. Its
mission is to inform, entertain and educate the public by providing
high-quality values-centered programs that enrich life.
The
station is dedicated to the growth and revolution of the new media
era. It is created as a community and a resource - a center of values
where its best practices can be explored and where vision and innovation
are shared to build new opportunities that enrich life. |

NET
25 is a free TV channel. It is on Channel 25 on terrestial TV and
is carried by major cable operators in the country led by Skycable
(Channel 62 or 70), Home (Channel 55) and Destiny (Channel 41).
It is now aired by 416 cable operators nationwide via the Mabuhay
Aguila 2 satellite and re-transmitted through the DTH system of
Dream Broadcasting Corporation (Channel 18). Beamed by PanAmSat,
NET 25 reaches TV audiences in the East Coast, United States and
Hawaii and the whole of Asia including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
China as well as Australia.

network is backed up by Eagle Broadcasting Corporation's six radio

| Capable
of 120 kilowatts of transmitter power (for a total of 7,896 kilowatts
ERP), NET 25 boasts of the Philippines' first trilon TV tower that
soars to an impressive 907 feet above sea level. This makes it one
of the tallest and most imposing structures in Metro Manila. A state-of-the-art
JAMPRO 48-panel antenna and two 60 kw ACRODYNE transmitters complete
the tower package. NET 25 also boasts of an all-digital production
facility complete with studios and editing suites for in-house and
post-productions. |

its effort to bring a unique TV viewing experience, NET 25 focuses
on informative and educational shows. Hence, the tagline Feed Your
Mind. It aims to provide the following program genre to its market:
news and information, modern living, arts and culture, modern entertainment
and information technology.
With
its initial partnership with TechTV, NET 25 was branded as the country's
first and only e-channel, the only television station that is devoted
to providing information and entertainment on computing, internet,
and information technology. With its current programs like Fresh
Gear, Extended Play, NET Café, Next Step, Computer Chronicle
and Audio File, NET 25 remains to be the country's premier TV network
that is dedicated to the developments in the world of IT. Its station-produced
program Convergence is the consistent No. 1 IT show in the Philippines.
Today,
NET 25 aims to offer programs that address the viewers' needs whether
they are @work, @play, @home, @ school and in need of service. With
this strategy, NET 25 is committed to providing wholesome entertainment
to all the members of the family.
The
station-produced programs of NET 25 cater to the wide cross section
of the Philippine society, from ABC to E. Liwanagin Natin, Con Todos
Recados, and the NET 25 Report (Filipino newscast) cater to the
masses while Convergence and NET 25 World Report (English newscast)
serve the more upscale viewers.
Consistently
earning significant viewers are NET 25's canned shows which are
centered on lifestyle, crafts and travel such as Our House, Pilot
Guides (formerly Lonely Planet) and House Calls. Its music video
program called PLAY! earns the most number of viewers both in the
total number of individuals and households viewing. |

Anak TV Seal
Recognizing
the values-centered positioning of the station, the SouthEast Foundation
for Children's Television awarded NET 25's Ocean Girl a special
citation called ANAK TV Seal. It is an unprecedented stamp of good
housekeeping that is bestowed on TV programs deemed by the public
as worthy of support by Filipino families and of patronage by education,
business and religious sectors.
Competing with the two largest TV networks, namely, ABS-CBN and
GMA 7 with eight winners each, NET 25 was awarded this year with
seven winners of the ANAK TV Seal 2002. The winning TV shows are
Zoboomafoo, Pilot Guides, Convergence, Our House, Ocean Girl, New
Yankee Workshop and House Calls.
Channel Share
Based on the latest AGB Ratings Survey (September 8-14) commissioned
by the Philippine Television Research Council (TVRC), NET 25's channel
share (based on individuals viewing) is ranked number 3 in the UHF
Band and number 8 overall.
Based on the Ratings, majority of NET 25's viewers belong to the
broad C market followed by upper C, DE and the AB markets.
Most of NET 25's existing audience come from the 13-19 and 30-39
age brackets.
