TASW News Update - October 6th, 2003

Texas All-Star Wrestling returns to the Hit Away Sports Arena in Tomball, located at 10920 FM 2920 on Saturday Night, October 18th at 8pm.  Don't miss the 2nd Annual Tomball Streetfight.  The Main Event will feature a 13-Man Come as You Are, Bring What You Want, Anything Goes Streetfight.  Tickets for this event are now on sale at the Hit Away Sports Arena.  You can order tickets with a credit card by phone.  The number is (281) 448-2929.  Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the show starting at 7pm.

Congratulations go out to VooDoo the Xecutioner who defeated Bret Basics at "SLAMFEST"  to become the new TASW Cruiserweight Champion.

Tammy Royce of Houston was the winner of the Win a Date with Leif Ericson contest.

The Humble Little League Colts were on hand at SLAMFEST enjoying the TASW action!  They are kickin' some butt this year, with a 6-1 record.

Also at SLAMFEST the Hardcore Kingpin Scott Phoenix showed up out of nowhere and wanted a piece of TASW Hardcore Champion Hugh Rogue.  Rogue wasn't scheduled for the show, so he wasn't there.  Phoenix claims he is "what hardcore wrestling is all about".  He says that he has destroyed and crippled wrestlers throughout North Texas, and now he is ready to unleash hardcore destruction on TASW.  I'm sure as soon as Hugh Rogue hears this, he will gladly except a challenge from the Kingpin.  1MP has never been known to back down from a challenge, especially not a hardcore challenge!  But before Phoenix and Rogue get it on, Phoenix had better be worried about Bobby 2-Badd.  It seems that TASW Heavyweight Champion Chris Allen paid Phoenix a large sum of money to take out Bobby 2-Badd at SLAMFEST.  Bobby 2-Badd was left lying in the middle of the ring a defeated man.  Due to interference from Phoenix, Chris Allen was able to retain his title.  Scott Phoenix will have hell to pay on November 1st in Humble as he will meet Bobby 2-Badd in a Hardcore Match.  B2B is no stranger to hardcore wrestling.   He's been in some of the bloodiest matches that TASW and Texas has ever seen!  Below are comments from the B2B the Western Shooter:

It was a classic TASW Championship fight for the only Heavyweight Title in Texas that means anything. Chris Allen I out wrestled you and beat your ass all over every square inch of the ring.  I see where all the extra money you make being the champ went.  I can't tell you now that so called  "ace in the hole" you hired to take me out is nothing more than a joker at best.  Don't think I am going to forget about getting that belt back.  Right now I'm going to get a little bit of pay-back.  Scott Patrick oh I mean Phoenix, I like the way you called out Hugh Rogue.  He wasn't even there, and if he was I can tell you now that the "One Man Posse" would have beat your ass.  You call yourself the hardcore kingpin.  Only hardcore queen's come from Dallas and I hate Dallas wrestler's.  Phoenix you are going to be the Paul Revere of the Lone Star State.  After I beat your ass you can run back to Dallas and tell all the mama's boy's that "2Badd kicked my ass, the Western Shooter 2Badd kicked my ass, 2Badd is the hardcore master".  You want hardcore you got it!  I'm going to take all the hate I have for Dallas wrestler's and take it out on you Phoenix.  I want blood and violence and I am going to do it November 1st in Humble, the only way I know how.....2Badd style!!!!!!!

Tickets are on sale now at the TASW Arena for "THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS", Saturday November 1st @ 8pm.  Bobby 2-Badd -vs- Scott Phoenix in a Hardcore Match.  VooDoo defends his title against Nark, Chris Allen defends against Scoby Gober, Women Wrestlers and more.

Check out the Upcoming Events page for the complete lineup.  Check back here next week for more comments from TASW stars.
