Station Histories
KDGO – Durango’s News Talk
Founded in 1958, KDGO brings a legacy of news talk and local programming, reflecting Durango’s spirit and regional stories for generations. KDGO is Durango’s only news talk station and among the oldest radio stations in the region. The station’s first transmitter was located in the Burns National Bank building at the corner of Main Avenue and 9th Street in Durango.
In the early days, the station was owned by regional broadcasting pioneer Jim Gober. Since August 2023, Hutton Broadcasting has licensed KDGO. With regional and local news and information programming, KDGO is positioned to be “Durango’s News Talk Station” for many years to come!
KENN – Farmington’s News Talk
With roots reaching back to 1951, KENN delivers trusted news, talk, and information, built on the foundation of broadcasting pioneers, and serving the Farmington area with pride.
In the five years following its founding, the station morphed into station KENN, named after owner C.O. Kendrick, and changed its position on the dial. From 1956 until 2023, the station’s studio was located at 212 West Apache Street.
KENN is northwestern New Mexico’s news and talk authority, featuring local news, weather, agriculture, and sports programming. KENN features the top names in conservative talk radio.
