VP, Latin American Content

A native of Mexico, Ramos is responsible for all of Netflix’s original series, films and licensed content for the Latin American region. Ramos’ unit took a big swing in 2024 in adapting the beloved Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude” as a limited series. Since joining Netflix in 2017, he has worked on titles including “Elite,” “La Casa de las Flores,” “El Reino” and “¡Que viva México!” Ramos started his career in Spain, working for media company Grupo Zeta and at Antena 3 Television, where he was head of acquisitions and programming. He subsequently joined Aurum Producciones, the Spanish distributor for films from the likes of New Line, Morgan Creek, Spyglass and Miramax. Ramos then became an independent producer, going on to produce projects for Grupo Zeta’s audiovisual arm.
