Bender fights Godzilla and hits on kissing Siamese twins in the trailer for “Futurama” Season 13.

All 10 episodes of the new season premiere on Hulu on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET. Two episodes per week will air on FXX starting Sept. 15.

Per the logline, in the upcoming episodes, “Bender is rampaging out of control! A volcano is about to explode! Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love! And Dr. Zoidberg is rising up to heaven?! The excitement might be too much!”

The animated sitcom, from “Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, takes place in the 31st century in New New York, a futuristic city built atop the ruins of the present-day Big Apple. It follows Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy who is frozen in a cryogenic chamber in the year 2000 and awakes 1,000 years later, just before the year 3000. He soon becomes close friends with Leela, a one-eyed mutant from the sewers; Bender, a crude, cigar-smoking robot; Professor Farnsworth, a mad scientist and descendant of Fry; Conrad, a Jamaican accountant; Dr. Zoidberg, a lobster-looking Decapodian and physician; and Amy Wong, a ditsy astrophysicist student.

“Futurama” returned for its second revival run in July 2023 on Hulu after a 10-year hiatus. The series first premiered on Fox in 1999, then returned for Season 5 on Comedy Central after a six-year break. After five seasons on that network, the show spent another 10 years in the cryogenic chamber before coming back to life on Hulu. Season 13 marks the third installment of the animated sitcom on the streamer.

Groening created “Futurama” and developed the series with David X. Cohen. They executive produce with Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz. The voice cast includes Billy West, Katey Sagal, John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom and more.
