With less than a month to go until “Wicked: For Good” opens in theaters on Nov. 21, Lego has released a play-by-play version of a behind-the-scenes featurette titled “On the Set of Wicked: For Good (Official LEGO Brickified)” with Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. But this time, they — along with the world of Oz — have been transformed into Lego bricks.
“Wicked: For Good” is based on the musical’s second act, which follows Elphaba and Glinda as their friendship is put to the test, and how their actions change their lives and Oz forever.

As with the live-action trailer, audiences get a glimpse of Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion, who will be voiced by Colman Domingo.
“’Wicked: For Good’ gets bigger and is much more about the consequences of the hard choices that you make,” a Lego version of director Jon M. Chu says in the video.
Ervio’s Lego version is also seen in the forests of Oz singing a snippet from “No Good Deed.” The actress teases, “The journey that they go on in film two is chilling.”
Meanwhile, Lego Grande also speaks about how “For Good” goes in testing the two characters. She says, “We really just get to see how far we can push this friendship, and how many tests can this relationship stand?”
The featurette highlights how Lego recreated the world of the film, including sets like the yellow brick road, the Emerald City and Glinda’s apartment.
Chu promises the sequel will be bigger than the first. He says, “We have more action, more flying, more reveals, more drama.”
