Sony-owned anime streamer Crunchyroll is debuting a 24/7 channel of curated fan-favorite series on Samsung TV Plus, beginning Wednesday.
At launch, the Crunchyroll Channel on Samsung TV Plus — the streaming service for Samsung’s smart TV products — will include “Yu Yu Hakusho,” “Assassination Classroom Black Clover,” and “To Your Eternity,” among several other anime-focused titles.
The Crunchyroll Channel will feature English-subbed and – dubbed series, with additional genres, themes, and promotional programming blocks rolling out over time to showcase the depth and diversity of anime storytelling from Japan, per Crunchyroll.
Additionally, the network will air full episodes of Crunchyroll’s podcast, “Crunchyroll Presents: The Anime Effect,” a podcast that “provides a gateway for the anime-curious to enter the wide world of the medium.”

Currently, Crunchyroll’s titular subscription streaming service houses more than 25,000 hours and 50,000 episodes of anime content. Priced at $7.99 for its “premium” tier offering, the streamer will continue to be Crunchyroll’s main destination for new anime series and fresh episodes of its existing and licensed properties.
The launch of Samsung’s Crunchyroll Channel further expands the partnership between the two companies, which last year teamed to bring the Crunchyroll app to Samsung TV Plus.
“Crunchyroll is committed to making anime more accessible than ever and the launch of the Crunchyroll Channel on Samsung is another step towards ensuring we’re everywhere our fans want to enjoy their anime,” Crunchyroll’s head of global commerce Mitchel Berger said in a statement to Variety on Wednesday. “We’re excited to give fans, and those just discovering anime, a curated, always-on way to experience the stories and characters they love, right from their Samsung Smart TVs.”
