At the heart of our sustainability strategy is the principle of waste prevention through circularity. We strive to provide products and services that minimize waste generation. We actively promote the reuse and repair of devices and equipment whenever possible. Through initiatives such as our refurbished CPEs and mobile trade-in programs, we incentivize customers to return their old devices for refurbishment and subsequent reuse. We are also increasing options for e-SIM technology and half-SIM use to encourage customer support our ambition to reduce plastic waste.

When devices or other e-waste reach the end of their life cycle, we prioritize their proper recycling and material recovery. We provide e-waste drop off points at our shops to help our customers safely dispose of their e-waste and batteries through collaboration with certified recycling partners. Within out network infrastructure, we aim to use material with a longer lifespan and safe recycling of materials during upgrades and repairs. For example, fibre optics cables results in less electronic waste compared to copper-based networks due to the longer equipment lifespans.

We also started collaborating with specialized and ISO14001 certified facilities that employ safe and sustainable disposal practices. By preventing harmful substances from entering the environment and supporting the development of proper waste management infrastructure, we contribute to a healthier and cleaner future.
