Misleading photo

I ordered this cushion cover from a picture where it looked like a dull red. When it arrived the more revealing description would have been brown. I'm returning it having had an easily accessible and helpful and exchange with Customer Services. This is the first time I've received anything from you I've been other than delighted with.

order dumped

This was delivered to the rear of our house - beyond the stables to the open entrance of a broken down shed - nowhere near our main front door. Because you sent a helpful photo we were able to track it down.
Our main entrance has double red doors.

Failed delivery

This delivery failed to arrive. It was found an hour ago in a hedge, in the dark by absolute chance by a dog walker at the far end of our very long drive. Only one side of the packing remains intact and the rose sulphur is missing. The rose is still in situ and in the morning I'll take a good look at it.

I am so sorry to hear what happened. I checked Yodel's proof of delivery photo which shows the box left the right way up under what appears to be a dark green wall mounted post box, rather than in a hedge. So I really am not sure what's happened there. But in the photo I can clearly see the top of the box was damaged. Probably resulting in the Rose Sulphur Tonic being missing. I can see you since contacted Customer Services, thank you - and the missing item will be dispatched asap. Please accept our sincere apologies. Emma.

A courier delivered a Dunelm parcel on…

A courier delivered a Dunelm parcel on Monday night. He spotted my debit card, which I'd dropped in the drive, and so he rang the bell - but we were out. The courier came again the next morning with the parcel and with my bank card. I'd say that was way beyond the call of duty. Truly impressive.

True gratitude

It was hard for me to tell what the problem was as something as it was too high up for me to see properly. A roofer arrived the next day - despite the gales and fierce rain and by the afternoon the problem was solved.

The engineer arrived promptly but we…

The engineer arrived promptly but we here for a relatively brief time and it became clear that the problem was not something he could help with.

I'm unsure of the date he came so the below is a guess.

I see from Ben's response that 'something was incorrectly wired.' This was not the case - a second electrician discovered the cause was a bees nest underneath the floorboards of a bedroom above the kitchen and the wax from the huge honeycomb had eaten into the wires.

I've had a look and I can see that our Engineer diagnosed that the issue was being caused by an incorrect installation, which we don't cover under any of our policies. I'm sorry to see that we couldn't assist on this occasion.

Repairing a hole in chimney.

Repairing a hole in chimney.
Initially there was a delay - crossed wires - which is unusual for Homeserve. However the roofer came as soon as the scaffolding was in situ and the job was done swiftly and well.
