I ordered a carbon pro folding scooter in November last year. In January the remote sensors stopped working and I had to fumble to use the key. One of the main reasons for buying this scooter was the ability to use a fob rather than a key. It took a while for an engineer to visit who said he would order a new PCB. On returning from holiday some two weeks later no sign of the parts and on ringing care co it transpires that the parts were ever ordered and was told they would be. Some days later two packages arrived but it took several phone calls and weeks to pass before an engineer showed up. When he did he took the scooter apart and said they had sent the wrong part. By this time the scooter had already started juddering at certain speeds and said in his report he would recommend the scooter be replaced. A few calls to careco later and the engineers report had been received and they agreed to replace it last week. You couldn’t make it up but they sent me a folding wheelchair! More phone calls later they agreed to send out the correct scooter, which they despatched, apparently last Friday for next day delivery. Saturday, nothing arrived, Monday afternoon nothing arrived so another phone call to be told it hadn’t been scanned in by FedEx. I spoke to their customer services again and was told they would ring fedex and get back to me by 3:40pm. By 4:45 still no call so yet another phone call and was told the person dealing with it would call me back. Guess what, it’s now 8pm and still no call.
They have been told all along I am going on holiday this Wednesday and needed the replacement scooter
EDIT - just had a call from the director of the company with sincere apologies for what had happened and assures me all issues will be addressed and looked into.
