Worst company I have ever dealt with. The installation was rushed and threw in and does not meet current uk regulations. The roofing company damaged my roof in several areas and left without saying a word about it. Contacted Project Solar who insisted they send the original roofing company back to repair. I told them I didn’t want them back but they still sent them. They botched the repairs which has already failed and now has stopped replying to my emails. Batteries left balancing on two bits of timber in my loft. These are above my daughter’s bed. They are not fixed to the timbers. The installation was thrown in. No handover all they wanted to do was get home, they were from Coventry and I’m sure they would have been home by 5pm and I live in wales. Customer service is nonexistent. So I’m left with a damaged roof with several leaks. A dangerous installation and now my wall charger for my car won’t work with solar due to not being balanced whatever that it! It was working before they completed their work. Stay well clear of this company. Just read other people moaning about the installation being rushed so this is common. Save you’re money go elsewhere. Worst company ever.

Panels stopped working after one week. No service personnel available for a week. Unacceptable.

I have just had my solar panels & battery fitted by Simon & Marcus. They were very polite & professional & gave me a guided tour around the App which made it easier to understand. Great service & I would highly recommend. Thank you.

We are very happy with Project Solar (one day past installation). From the detailed business case calculations during the buying process (thanks Robert), to the great team of scaffolders, and to the installers (Craig, Tommy, Harrison and crew), we have had clear communication, the opportunity to discuss solutions as they went, and really sensitive execution. The panels on the roof look really good against our slate tiles, the DC cable conduits were artfully hidden/disguised, and the inverter and batteries really cleverly hidden. A great job all round, to match the high quality components of our 9.5kW panels / 18.6kWh batteries. Our thanks to the whole team!

From start to finish, an easy, well executed and informative process. From the first meeting with Jamal to the installation of the scaffolding and then the installation of the system yesterday by Matt and Kieron. All very polite and professional, perfect representation of the company and fulfilling their roles to the highest standards. Couldn’t recommend enough and very thankful for the members of staff that I had the pleasure of dealing with.

The installation team were amazing and went out of their way to get my installation complete in one day despite the obstacles created by the electrician being sent on a course despite being scheduled to do my work and no one else being able to complete the job
I had been promised great communication and an amazing customer service but apart from a single helpful person I have so far been left to try and figure things out and move forward on my own

Both installation engineers were polite and helpful and have done professional work.
Of note, the storage battery supplied was too wide to fit on the garage floor safely. Alex solved the problem by installing it above car height.
The scaffolding contractors did not give any indication of when they were coming, for errection or dismantling. That could have been a problem with the property locked.

Chris and Derek worked hard, were cheerful and made me feel at ease .
It was v cold but they didn’t complain .
They appreciated the tea/ coffee and biscuits .

Took call from Project after receiving multiple calls from them after completing web enquiry. Went through all their questions and agreed a date for someone to come survey. When I got put through the book the appointment in I got questioned about whether my husband would be home when the surveyor came. I was informed that they wouldn't book an appointment for me unless he took the morning off to be present. Really??? In this day and age??? Apparently it's policy!!! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

The service I have received was very professional and friendly. I now look forward to decent weather when my new solar panels will deliver much needed cost savings on my fuel bills. I should have purchased them sooner... though better late than never given the extreme volatility of the energy markets and the fickle nature of those governing them.

A team of 3 young men with obvious talent and knowledge arrived at the appointed time ,were polite and well mannered. They each got on with their allocated part of the job in a professional and skilful way. Their approach to solving a few logistic problems was admirable. At the end of the working day they had collectively achieved an excellent installation and left a good looking and tidy site; we are very pleased.

Communications regarding the Instal was disjointed with numerous messages received for incorrect dates for surveys and duplicated messages.

Kept up to date with progress, installation went smoothly, follow up phone call and good explanation from Brad on using the app. Steve was thorough and explained what was found and how installation was being completed and making sure I was happy with every thing.

I recently had a very positive meeting with Christopher, who visited my home and spent over two and a half hours explaining how the entire system works and outlining the benefits it provides. I was particularly impressed with the warranty periods offered by Project Solar UK, as this was one of my main criteria when selecting the right company for the job. The fact that Project Solar UK is a well‑established business with a strong base of satisfied customers further reinforced my confidence in choosing them.

Although the system has not yet been installed, it is scheduled for installation within the next two weeks. I am pleased that there is no excessive waiting time, which has added to my overall positive experience so far.
