Delighted by the exceptional service

Delighted by the exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and warm welcome we received upon arrival and being shown to our table. When we dined early at 6:30, the restaurant was quiet, and despite our reservation, they graciously accommodated our preference away from the entrance. The beautifully presented dishes were a culinary delight, offering outstanding value that surpassed expectations, even for Mayfair. We later discovered an exclusive upstairs seating area reserved for cherished patrons, enhancing the venue's charm. Our dining experiences across London's finest eateries have always been memorable, and the owners and staff went above and beyond to make our recent visit unforgettable. Our sophisticated attire and shared appreciation for excellence made us feel right at home. Kudos to the remarkable team!

We faced disappointment with the service, the food, and the initial welcome at the entrance and table placement. Although we had a reservation for 6:30, the nearly empty restaurant still seated us by the entrance, which we declined. The cuisine, while nicely arranged, was mediocre and far too expensive for such small portions. Even in Mayfair, value for money is important. We discovered later that more appealing seating upstairs was reserved exclusively for favored guests. Having experienced excellent dining in London and globally, this was the first time we felt discriminated against by the establishment's owners. Despite being well-dressed and paying the same, it was disappointing to be treated this way. The owners and staff should reconsider their approach.

Disappointed with service and food. Owners should not judge the book by its colour!

Dissapointed with service, food and how we were greeted at the door and to our table. The restaurant was empty at 6.30 and we had made an advanced reservation yet were given a table by the entrance.Which we declined.
The food was average just well presented.Far too over priced for the meagre portion.I know it is Mayfair but we all like to have value for money.
We later found out that there was much nicer seating upstairs that their preferred customers had exclusive access to. We have wined and dined in really great retaurants in London around the world but have never received victimisation as we did last weekend from the owners. We were well dressed and our money was the same colour as everyone elses. Shame on the owners and staff.

I have never left a negative review in…

I have never left a negative review in my life and I do realize that this is not a starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated, when finally a blonde waitress said hi to us, or should i say to my wife only, in a very unproffesional flirty manner. She took us to our table, which was a very small square thing, with not much space for anything, and only about 20 cm away from another table, so actually we might as well join the tables together if we go next time (i don't think so !). The menu cards very ABSOLUTELY disgusting, covered in oil and all sorts of dirst with the foil peeling away from the paper . We ordered our drinks, and soon enough the 'over enthusiastic' waitress came back to take our orders , nearly siting down on my wife lap AND I AM NOT JOKING ! I had as my starter, was nothing more than two slices of burnt Tesco's value garlic bread with a bit of tomato on top, which cost me nearly a fiver ... We ordered our mains and ta dah! six minutes later (?!) they arrived. Surprisingly quick service? We had mussels which was a bowl of mussels and OIL, seriosuly, that was not a sauce, it was some sort of tepid liquid with an ich layer of oil , with a slice of lemon, i repeat A SLICE of lemon. When my wife asked for some more lemon, a surprised waiter pointed out that there already was lemon on the plate. There was no taste to it at all, and there was no salt or pepper on the table, so you had to try your hardest to attract someone's attention to get a bit of salt, which took a while. Honestly, the best bit of food we had there, was the two candies which came with our bill ! Honestly, I never complain in a restaurant, because I used to work as a waitress myself, so I know what its like sometimes, but for god's sake, if you charge people, and quite a bit of money, you must give something back. The whole thing was a bit like a fast - food restaurant focused on quantity rather than quality Im affraid, the whole time I was sat inches from another person, and could hear the entire conversation that the other couple was having. I strongly suggest to have less tables there, and give people a bit of privacy when eating and talking and trying to enjoy a meal out. I will never go there again !!! It was terrible !!!Don't be fooled, this place has nothing to do with Italian food, and the service was very poor. KFC would have been a better choice !
