We ordered a Birlea Rio bed and mattress combo from BandQ online. The bed frame arrived, but the mattress didn't. Decided to assemble the bed anyway. The finish is rough, the headboard looks dreadful with gaps and on top of that one coupling screw had no thread in it, and one half moon nut was missing... Was going to get three more of these as we have 5 children and are moving into a new home.... Won't be happening. Ordered replacement hardware from Amazon as it will be quicker than waiting for a response from Birlea

I bought Berlin Ottoman Brown bed. There is a zipper which put all the parts at the back of the headboard. However, the zipper is throw away and cannot close

I ordered a mirrored 6 drawer chest which has arrived on time in perfect condition. I wasn’t available to receive the order but a friend tracked the app and popped round for the two hour window. This in itself was a godsend. She could track exactly where they were in the country and how long they’d be. Perfect. Just what you need. The guys were extremely helpful and kindly lifted the heavy item up two floors to the desired bedroom. Exceptional Service. Quality item. Fabulous tracking system. 10/10.

Small double ottoman bed good quality looks good. Complex time consuming assembly. It comes in 4 boxes with numerous parts. Fast delivery although staff were unable to to take the bed upstairs which seems unreasonable.

Despite being disabled the two mind you not one but two drivers refused to carry this item up 13 steps quoting we are not insured for any damage

Lovely furniture and the delivery process was easy and the delivery drivers were excellent 👍🏻 would highly recommend

The price was reasonable and delivery was fast. The overall shape and style of the product are good, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. However, the laminate looks unrealistic and was already peeling in several areas upon arrival. This raises concerns about how well the product will hold up after a few months of use.

My delivery was made on time and swiftly, the delivery men were pleasant and accommodating

Three weeks later I'm still waiting for a re-delivery as the courier trashed the box. I'm constantly having to chase. Then being told it's definitely arriving on a certain date and then it doesn't turn up. Fed up of trying to get answers.
I really hope the furniture is worth the wait...

Prompt delivery, provided a specific time and delivered exactly within that period. Product looks and feels excellent. Good value for money.

The item received is not the same as that shown on the website which has a wooden cross-support under the seat whereas the chair I received has no wooden frame and the legs screw directly into the base of the chair. It seems I have paid extra for a chair that is no different to much cheaper products available.
Update 03/02/2026
The issue has been resolved today with the retailer, Homebase, offering me a discount which I have accepted. They have dealt with the issue very promptly when it was obviously a problem with their supplier Birlea.
Hopefully Birlea will now update their website to show the actual product!

Excellent delivery with great communication, the bed we bought was easy to assemble and looks great

Bed came in 5 boxes well packaged with no problems relatively easy to assemble

Delivery was very good.. even a phone call to say they would be half an hour earlier which was acceptable.

We purchased a dining set from British heart foundation new and we are delighted with it the quality and price is amazing. We assembled the product with ease the instructions were clear and precise we can’t say how delighted we are with the product thank you

Updated 3/02/2026 We received an email this morning (from Birlea ) confirming they’ve contacted their courier to arrange a collection date. We await their response.
We placed 3 orders with the above named company . The first for dining chairs, the second for one armchair and the third for extra dining chairs.
The dining chairs are good quality and a reasonable price but the experience with the armchair explains the low rating .
The armchair was chosen for an elderly relative. We were looking for a comfortable and supportive chair and the chair we chose online seemed to meet those needs (the relative in question has rheumatoid arthritis) Unfortunately on arrival and seeing the armchair in person, we realised the chair was unsuitable. It didn’t look sturdy enough for the purpose required, the seat wasn’t soft enough and the back was not supportive enough therefore we immediately
repacked it (in exactly the same way we received it, same packaging etc) Obviously, it was not used.
We contacted the company we bought it from to return it and they said they’d contact the company that manufactured it.
We received an email from Birlea (the manufacturing company) the following day asking for photos of the product flaws, a description of what was wrong etc.
Obviously those questions were irrelevant to our situation and the reason for the return had clearly not been explained to them by the company we ordered it from.
We immediately sent an email in return explaining the issue and asking for a collection date by return email.
Unfortunately we have heard nothing since.
We noted there was a telephone number on the email but it also stated they are just trade suppliers therefore they do not deal directly with members of the public (we were not previously aware of that).
It added any enquiries have to go through the company their product was ordered from (making communication rather difficult as it’s a three way process).
We can only trust that despite that, this issue will be dealt with speedily.
Aside from this problem, we have been impressed with the delivery service and the quality and comfort of the dining room chairs but the returns process (at present) seems to be lacking in that level of efficiency .
We now await a satisfactory response detailing a collection date ( thus enabling us to edit this review to a more favourable one). .

I was very impressed with my tv stand coffee table and side board.
