We had a great time on the gin Distillery tour. Our host Tom was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. Plus there was lots of lovely gin to taste. I would highly recommend this tour.

2nd late Christmas lunch party for us, this year. Gavin and his team worked really hard to get everything just as we asked. Always a pleasure to go to the Golf Club.  Can thoroughly recommend for meals and coffees/teas after our walks.  Thanks again everyone, see you all soon.

Beware, he can break a few people, the cocktails are first class and toooo easy to drink. Thanks again Cathal, you’re a lovely guy, hopefully see you again in2026 🥂👍🍸

A few of us had a carvery at The Kings Highway restaurant.
The chef Richard who served the veg was so friendly and accomodating. The waiting staff were great, and as for the veg trimmings....it was fantastic. Possibly the best roast potatoes l've had.
Everything was hot and fresh which is impressive as we had the carvery at 7.45pm and they finish serving at 8.00pm. I've been to other carveries in the past, where they don't always replenish when they are almost ready to shut down. Not in this case. Chef Richard made sure everything was pipping hot and fresh.

Welsh House Swansea. Inconsistent service. Lukewarm starter. Mains-fish and chips- overcooked batter , rock hard chips. Both felt ill all evening after eating. Won't be back

Today I went to Brewers Fayre Abergavenny for Sunday Lunch. As the doors opened the people in front of me in the queue walked straight in and chose their tables and went straight to the bar to order their food and drinks, as a newbie I followed the crowd as there was no one at the front to seat you. While standing in the queue I was called out in front of everyone in the restaurant and told that because i wasn't a “ regular” that I should have waited for someone to seat me even though when I arrived there was no one there. Any newbies that book a table here be warned not to follow the regulars and be made to look silly as I was I think they should put a sign on the front desk to make people aware.I was always led to believe that all customers should be treated the same immaterial of whether they are regulars or newbies.

As usual, this is a great non-alcoholic drink. I order a delivery every month and love it and so does my husband thank you.
