Shocking videos show teenager repeatedly punched and humiliated
Distressing videos showing a boy being bullied and punched in Swansea have circulated online. Police are investigating the Snapchat clips, showing two separate incidents, each show a boy being targeted by tracksuit-clad teenagers.
In one incident a boy is repeatedly punched in the head while in a busy fast food restaurant, and another one captured in an isolated alleyway shows a boy kneeling down being told to kiss another boy's shoes. The police have condoned the "deplorable" behaviour, and said investigations are underway into both incidents.
In one of the videos, filmed in Popeyes in Swansea, a large group of teenagers is seen standing around a boy as a heated exchange erupts. For the biggest stories in Wales first sign up to our daily newsletter here.
The start of the 43-second clip appears to show one boy clipping another near his head, while a girl imitates punching him and another boy is temporarily restrained by another member in the group.
The boy who the abuse was being aimed at told the boys he was going to stay in the fast food establishment until his dad got there and said he hadn't done anything and didn't want to fight anyone.
Following a fierce exchange of words the situation then escalates further and one of the teenagers begins repeatedly punching the victim to his head as he shelters near the drinks machine attempting to protect his face.
A series of seven punches are thrown to his face and stomach before the clip cuts off as a girl tries to move the attacker away.
Before the punching began, other members of the group can be heard saying "smack him", while one girl says "this is f***ing crazy".
In another clip, a young teenager can be seen saying sorry as he crouched on his knees in front of another boy wearing a balaclava to cover his face. The balaclava-clad boy then tells him to kiss his "f***ing shoe" while standing in a residential area.
The other boy then kissed his hand and touched the trainer to which the other responded "you good little b**ch". The balaclava-wearing individual then appears to let him go and the video shows him walking away after 25 seconds.
A spokesman from South Wales Police said: "The clips depict acts of deplorable behaviour and I would like to reassure people that investigations into both incidents are underway."
