12 sections of the M4 to close this week hitting drivers
Several road closures will be in place across Wales over the next week, including some on the M4. All week from Monday, March 2, until Sunday, March 8, there will travel disruption along major routes for roadworks to take place.

M4 closures
The M4 eastbound will be shut at junction 33 Capel Llanilltern for carriageway maintenance. This closure will be in place from March 2 to March 5, between the hours of 8pm and 6am.
The M4 westbound junction 41 Pentyla/Baglan to junction 42 Earlswood will be shut for carriageway maintenance. This will be in force from March 3 to March 7, between 8pm and 6am.
The M4 eastbound junction 41 to junction 40 Taibach will be shut from March 1 to 2, between 8pm and 6am.
Both directions of the M4 will be shut between junction 37 Pyle to junction 38 Margam from March 2 to 7, between 8pm and 6am.
M4 westbound junction 36 Sarn onslip will be closed from March 1 to March 2, from 8pm to 6am.
The M4 eastbound junction 36 Sarn onslip will be closed overnight for several weeks. The closure will be in place from March 2 to 21, during the hours of 8pm to 6am.
The M4 westbound junction 35 Pencoed onslip wil be closed overnight between March 1 and 2, from 8pm to 6am.
The M4 eastbound will be closed from junction 28 Tredegar Park to junction 24 Coldra for carriageway maintenance. It will be shut from March 4 to 6, between 8pm and 6am.
M4 eastbound junction 26 Malpas onslip will be shut from March 2 to March 6. between 8pm and 6am.
The M4 westbound will be shut from junction 24 Coldra to junction 28 Tredegar Park from March 2 to 4, from 8pm to 6am.
The entry slip road on to the M4 westbound junction 23A Magor will be shut from March 2 to 5, from 9pm to 6am. Diversions will be in place.
The entry slip road on the eastbound carriageway will be closed at junction 45 Ynysforgan between February 26 and March 4 for surveys. This will be in place between 8pm and 6am.
A470 closures
The A470 southbound from Pontypridd to Nantgarw will be shut overnight from March 5 to 6, from 8pm to 6am.
Both directions of the A470 will be closed at Mallwyd for carriageway maintenance from February 23 to March 13. This will be in place between 7pm and 6am.
A465 closures
The A465 westbound will be shut from Abergavenny Hardwick roundabout to Gilwern for resurfacing work. This closure will be in place from March 2 to March 7 between 8pm to 6am.
The A465 westbound onslip in Rhumney will be closed between 8pm and 6am, from March 2 to 7.
The A465 westbound Aberdulais to Neath will be closed from March 4 to 6, between 8pm and 6am.
The A465 eastbound Aberdulais to Resolven will be shut from March 2 to 4, between 8pm and 6am.
Neath to Llandarcy on the A465 southbound will be closed overnight from March 2 to March 3, from 8pm to 1am.
Both directions of the A465 will be closed from Dowlais Top to Tredegar from February 24 to March 3, from 8pm to 6am.
A55 closures
The eastbound carriageway onslip will be shut at junction 35 Dobs Hill for resurfacing work. The closure will be in place from February 22 to March 16, from 8pm to 6am.
The A55 eastbound wil be shut at junction 34 Ewloe Loop to junction 35 Dobs Hill from February 22 to March 16, from 8pm to 6am.
The A55 offslip at Glan Conwy will be closed in both directiond from February 28 to March 5, from 7pm to 6am.
The A55 onslip westbound at junction 9 Treborth will be closed from February 16 to March 4.
A4232 closures
The eastbound carriageway will be closed from March 2 to March 7, between 8pm and 6am.
A487 closures
The A487 in both directions will be closed at Tre Taliesin from March 4 to March 13, between the hours of 7pm and 6am.
The A487 will be closed in both directions in Aberystwyth Commins Coch for improvement work. Temporary traffic lights will be in place from 9am until 4pm from February 2 until June, 23.
