I am convinced the writer is using some kind of magic, because there's absolutely nothing special about the Kate Daniels series. The writing, for example, is way too descriptive and definitely not my favorite style. Every time I've picked a book in the series I have complained about the writing style. It is not that often I can find an MC I absolutely approve of. Olina is strong, fun, and fierce. She never backs down from a challenge, and she has an endearing personality. Not to mention our girl can kick some serious ass. Rosaline LOVES! I also absolutely loved her Frost persona, and I really hope to see more of that badass awesomeness.
