Warner Bros.
From Transformers Wiki
Warner Bros. is a part of the media conglomerate known as Warner Bros. Discovery. They have several subsidiaries in pretty much all areas of the entertainment industry. The former music subsidiary of the company, Warner Bros. Records, is now the main component of Warner Music Group, an independent company.
WBR handled the soundtrack releases for the live-action movie in 2007. Reprise Records, their imprint label, did the same for the sequel in 2009.
Warner released a handful of Armada DVDs to the Australian market in 2003 under their home video sub-division Warner Music Video.
Their sister companies are DC Comics, owners of characters such as Superman, Batman, and the Joker, and the 24-hour news channel CNN. In March 2019, Warner Bros. became the parent company of Cartoon Network through their Global Kids & Young Adults division and Rooster Teeth through Otter Media, following the closure of Machinima due to a restructuring handled by their corporate owner at the time, telecommunications giant AT&T through its WarnerMedia division.
On April 5, 2022, WarnerMedia was spun off from AT&T in favor of being merged with Discovery, Inc., as a publicly-traded company three days later on April 8, 2022 for $43 billion. Due to the merger, they became the owners of Discovery Family. Since then, another round of restructuring occurred with The Cartoon Network Group in place of Warner's Global Kids and Young Adults branch and Otter Media now under their Global Streaming & Interactive Entertainment division.
