Voskhod was the sole survivor of the Decepticon Pretender's attack on Soviet Research Station Oktober in 1965, and in exchange for his continued survival he agreed to work for Soundwave and derail any further Soviet attempts at exploring the Ark on the Moon. Convergence chapter 2 Under the watchful eyes of Soundwave and the Pretender, he remained at Research Station Oktober when it was rebuilt. Convergence chapter 3 By 1972, the Soviets were ready to send a manned mission to the Moon, but Laserbeak "persuaded" Voskhod to pull the plug on the project. Convergence chapter 4 He was then visited by Soundwave in person some time in 1973. Rising Storm #2 Voskhod died sometime after Soundwave left Earth in the late 70s, passing on his deal with the Decepticons to his nephew Alexi. Convergence chapter 4
