Vietnam
From Transformers Wiki
Vietnam (Việt Nam) is a country in Asia bordered by China, Laos, and Cambodia. The country's largest city is Ho Chi Minh City, previously and still sometimes known as Saigon.
In real-life, Vietnam is a country experiencing rapid economic growth with a rich and interesting history... Although, according to Transformers media, the only thing that seems to have ever happened in it is the Vietnam War.

Transformers in Vietnam
One notable aspect about the Transformers brand in Vietnam is the presence of several Hasbro factories across the country: according to a 2024 list [1], they host a whole fifteen "third party" facilities that produce goods for the American company, making them the country with the second largest Hasbro manufacturing presence only behind China. This means that a lot of modern Transformers figures are Vietnamese-made... And, as a result, whenever figures are leaked before their official release dates, it is also not too uncommon that they first pop up in Vietnam.

Notes
- Concept art for the 2018 Bumblebee movie from artist Thomas Pringle features a scene in Vietnam (presumably, yet again, set during the war), where Bumblebee is chased by Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopters. This ended up being cut out of the final movie.
