In 2021, Trickdiamond was held in jail, but was freed by Thrust as part of a potential play against Galvatron. Penniless, Trickdiamond joined up with Lunaclub and Moonheart in plotting to rescue their former leader, Megaempress, from the sleep Shockwave put her under. After storming Shockwave's facility and waking up Megaempress, Megatronia Chapter they joined her later in interrupting a battle between Grand Galvatron and Sky Reign. Sky Reign Chapter
While her teammates caused chaos amongst the Autobots and Decepticons, Trickdiamond stayed on the sidelines, where she spotted Thrust. Using her "charm" of physically abusing the Decepticon, she forced him to put her in contact with Unicron so that she could truly come out on top. When Megaempress called her 4 Guards forth to combine with her into Megatronia, Trickdiamond played along as, elsewhere, Unicron promised to come with his strongest soldiers... Megatronia Chapter When he arrived, Trickdiamond and Thrust scurried off and broke into a joint energon factory, stealing the contents and feeding it to Unicron to give him the ability to combine with Cybertron. Ruination Chapter, Part One The two were then co-opted by Grand Scourge and forced to form the arms of his "Scourge Grand Prime" form as he battled Black Convoy, but fell off when Scourge was defeated by Baldigus. When all Autobots and Decepticons present formed an alliance to defeat Unicron, Trickdiamond reluctantly formed Megatronia again for the final battle. Ruination Chapter, Part Two
When Megaempress and the 4 Guards were washing up on "car wash" day, a weight-sensitive Trickdiamond split her time between the sauna and the scale. Customary Car Wash Meeting in the Bath!
Continuing her partnership with Thrust, Trickdiamond traveled with him to the Legends World where they struck a deal with Nightbeat to help her steal Godbomber. In exchange, they would be allowed to use the robot to conquer the world... and in Trickdiamond's case, she also got hard cash. As Godbomber was missing its legs, the two filled in the gaps with their combiner forms while Nightbeat formed the head, but their Godbomber ended up destroyed in battle with God Ginrai. LG42 Godbomber She and Thrust continued working with Nightbeat and Weirdwolf's Headmasters as they rebuilt Trypticon in the Legends World. During an attack on Tera-Kura Co. to steal Metroplex's transformation cog, Trickdiamond defeated Chromia, Slipstream, and Blackarachnia with her Quake Shield. Decepticon Civil War She was present within Trypticon during his ensuing attack on the city. LG43 Trypticon
Trickdiamond helped Thrust steal Broadside's transtector, but fled and left him behind when Broadside came to take it back. LG53 Broadside Overhearing Octane and Tigatron's plans to start a sexy video business, Trickdiamond offered her services as manager, but was roped into being the subject of the business's first video. Its success was enough to earn Octane a transtector that the three used as transportation, but the jet ended up being hijacked by Starscream. However, Octane was able to recover it via a contingency feature, and Starscream was punished by being forced to appear in a video with Lunaclub. It proved so unsuccessful that Trickdiamond was forced back into modeling for videos. LG57 Octane
Precursor World
A Warrior of the Seven Lights resembling Trickdiamond was a member of the Yellow Order. She was enjoying one of the local oases on the Yellow Planet with her comrades when her commander Yellow Splendid Convoy received word of the fall of the Blue Order and the threat of the extradimensional warlord Ultra Megatron Omega from the Primus Vanguard's eponymous supreme leader. Trickdiamond was mentored by Big Wing, whose laid-back approach encouraged her to find her own way, living in the moment and not taking things too seriously. Swindle's II As a result, Trickdiamond gradually drifted into a life of crime and fell in with Swindle, who cut her in as one of his business partners. At Swindle's seedy joint, Trickdiamond encouraged customers to buy contraband energon and bet on illegal skitter races. Swindle's At some point, Starscream quietly recruited her to act as one of his many informants, with the promise that, if Swindle ever took a fall, he'd ensure that she'd inherit everything he owned. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Two
After the fall of the Tether, Security Operations eventually caught on to the fact that Swindle and his business partners were deliberately stealing surplus energon and funneling it to The Rise; when Prowl's team raided the joint, Trickdiamond unconvincingly feigned innocence after Sideswipe captured and arrested Storm Cloud in front of her, Swindle, and Gutcruncher. Swindle's
Trickdiamond and Headlock later worked together to stage a prison break to help free Swindle, after a brief haggle between herself and her boss. She and Headlock would later introduce Swindle's new associates, Roughstuff and Bumblebee, to the operation. Hunt Bumblebee was a mentor whose charge, Rubble, had been killed by Quake of the Rise. He was obsessive about the topic, and Trickdiamond tried to get him to stop making Roughstuff and the rest of the staff uncomfortable. She tried relating her experiences with Big Wing to him, but they had little in common. Swindle's II
Decepticon martial law proved almost stricter than living under a legitimate government. Profits were already down when Swindle decided to close early for the day, to Trickdiamond's chagrin. When she learned he made a side deal with the Autobot Smokescreen, Trickdiamond was livid—working both sides only worked if both sides were profitable, after all. Calling upon an old conversation, Trickdiamond put in a private call to Starscream and alerted him to the doublecross. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Two Sixshot brought the Decepticons in to Swindle's, a raid that caught the Autobots but ultimately failed to capture any of them. Sixshot gave Swindle a dressing down afterwards, but it's uncertain whether Starscream followed through on his promises. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Three

Notes
- Somewhat unusually, Trickdiamond was given two separate but related names from the outset as a play on playing card terminology. The secondary labels on TakaraTomy material use the English spelling "Trickdiamond", as per the English name of the Diamonds suit. Meanwhile, the Japanese text specifically gives her name as "Trickdia" (トリックダイヤ), as per the Japanese rendition of the suit.
- Both Jumpstream and Trickdiamond appeared in the 2019-2022 IDW comics, though amusingly, line artist Anna Malkova did not realize until after the conclusion of the series that she had been drawing the same mold![1] It really goes to show the power of a good deco.
Foreign names
- Japanese: Trickdia (トリックダイヤ Torikkudaiya)
